Lookout Point

This hardly qualifies as a walk because it is so short, but it is uphill so it will provide a bit of exercise.   And very worthwhile exercise as the view is amazing.

To reach the point, drive south on St Francis Drive from the village, past Triton Avenue which is the road to the Port.    Look for the pathway on the left, just before the road bends hard left.

The path is paved and leads up to a viewing spot with benches.   You have a wonderful panoramic view from the Seal Point Lighthouse to the Groot Winterhoek mountains.

This amenity was developed by the Enviro-Trust and the property-owners’ association and is maintained by the Enviro-Trust with the help of generous local property owners.
